V’s Surprise 40th

We love getting to be a part of milestone celebrations and we had so much fun planning and designing this 40th Surprise Birthday party for Vaishali. When her husband reached out to us to start the process, he was clear about a few things; he wanted to host the party in their stunning and vast backyard, he wanted to make it super impactful, and bohemian-Moroccan loungetheir wonderfully large family would all be in attendance, coming in from near and far. 

After getting more information on Vai’s style and aesthetic, we decided to create a bohemian-Moroccan-lounge, using rich jewel tones, maximal styling, and lots of details. Through furniture rentals, stunning floral arrangements, and unique decor moments, we transformed the backyard into a colorful oasis. Hanging marigolds draped along the home’s veranda to create a dramatic entrance for the big surprise, custom cocktails flowed, day beds and parasols dressed the yard, and an intricate spread was prepared for everyone to indulge in. Against the vibrant backdrop of the lounge, Vai’s surprise party became a memorable feast for the senses, blending diverse elements into an unforgettable celebration bringing family and friends together from multiple states and continents.
